An intensive week of piping and drumming

Cameron Barracks was the home for cadets from our Pipes and Drums Detachment for a week at Easter as they honed their music skills at the annual Pipes and Drums Concentration.

It was an intensive week of training for cadets at various ability levels and as well as ACF instructors there was also expert tuition from soldiers from the Regular Army.

There was continual assessment of the cadets throughout the week and plenty of practice for the two public parades at the end of the week in Dingwall and Inverness.

On Friday evening the cadets held a ceilidh and on Saturday the cadets were presented with their awards.

LCpl Solomon Rice won the medal for the most improved cadet at his level.
