During the October school holiday week, cadets from the Battalion have been hard at work gaining qualifications from the Pipes & Drums music syllabus at Redford Barracks, Edinburgh.
The week ended with a prestigious competition held at the Army School of Bagpipe Music & Highland Drumming and two of the Battalion’s cadets won awards.
Battalion cadets were part of the Massed Pipes and Drums of the cadet forces in Scotland on Saturday evening when they performed before a large and appreciative crowd on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.
